Joana Pons is an Assistant Conductor with the Teatro Municipal de Menorca, Spain, and has served in that capacity at the Washington Opera, Washington, D.C. She is an active recital accompanist and can be heard on the 2005 CD taped live form “La Nit de la Cultura de l’Obra Cultural Balear”. Ms. Pons is a graduate of the Conservatorio Municipal de Barcelona.
